Bangkok, March 8, 2023 - BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited or BTS Group is one of the leading organizations supporting the professional roles of women, promoting tolerance for gender diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as focusing on "creating value through talent". Therefore, on March 8th of every year, which is International Women's Day, BTS Group takes part in raising awareness of the importance of the professional roles of women within society. This is presented through the 4 "Women's Power" representatives, showcasing that at present, women can perform their duties effectively in a “Limitless” manner and are equal to other genders.

Mrs. Chitkasem Moo-Ming, Chief Financial Officer, VGI Plc., said that gender equality and cultural diversity within an organization will be a source of inspiration for its personnel. She also added that Thailand is a very good country for women's rights, saying that for woman, she thinks, there are no limitations. However, women have to do their best and consider the common good as a priority. Furthermore, companies should acknowledge and give opportunities to all women.

"In terms of time management, I have my mother as a role model in life. My mother has always balanced her professional life and her family life very well. She always came home on time. I try to do the same so that I have time to spend with my family. If there is urgent work, I tend to it after 9 pm or after my children go to bed so that I don’t cut into my family time. This allows women to prosper professionally while successfully maintaining their family lives.”

Ms. Sinattha Kiewkhong, Investor Relations and Sustainability Associate Director at BTS Group Holdings PCL, said that when it comes to work, the Company would like to focus on abilities rather than focusing on gender, whether the employee is female, male, or LTBTQIA+. The expression of ability is expressing one's identity in thinking and analysis. This includes both the head and the heart. “An important professional aspect that one must adhere to is accepting diversity in the workplace. I believe that everyone has abilities and has different ideas. These differences in ideas and abilities will help our organization grow sustainably.”

Mrs. Jinatta Phalabutr, Head of the electric train control of Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited, who has been working for the BTS Skytrain for more than 10 years, stated that women already have the capabilities, adding that “The advantage of women is that they are more compassionate, compromising, and flexible in their work.” However, women can also perform tasks that require decisiveness. “Despite acting as a supervisor of shift work, which means I have a different work schedule than most people, as well as being a single mother of two, I have to perform my role as a mother without fail. My children and I are quite close. We can talk about everything because I raised them to be independent in their thoughts and decision making. I only have a duty to give advice, support, and encouragement.”

Ms. Kavita Saengthammongkol, BTS officer of Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited, concluded by saying that "Allocation of work and personal life is important. We have to consider our plans each day. This includes our family plans, our work, as well as our personal issues. We must manage and determine our priorities correctly. Finally, we must not forget to take care of ourselves.”
