BTSC organizes a Merit - Making Ceremony to commemorate the King’s 85th Birthday Anniversary

Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC) in cooperation with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association recently organized a merit - making ceremony and offering of alms to 509 Buddhist monks attending from 10 temples located along the BTS SkyTrain route, such as Wat Pathumwanaram Rajaworavihara, Wat Phaiton, Wat Bunrod Thummaram, Wat Saphan, Wat Dhammamongkol, Wat That Tong, Wat Bangna Nai, Wat Suwan, Wat Yannawa and Wat Suan Phlu.

The event was held from the walkway of BTS Chit Lom to Siam Station to commemorate the Celebrations on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 85th Birthday Anniversary, coinciding with the 13th Anniversary of the BTS SkyTrain.

Deputy Bangkok Governor Malinee Sukavejworakit, M.D. chaired at the ceremony, together with Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, Chairman of BTSC and Mr. Chai Srivikorn, President of Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association. The event was attended by distinguished guests and management in the group’s businesses.
