BTS Group Launched new CSR Project

Following the great success in supporting operations of the Elephant Conservation Project of H.M. Queen Sirikit in Lampang last year. In order to continue with a sustainable CSR programme, BTS group is planning to organize a follow-on project, entitled “2nd BTS Group Thai Elephant Conservation Project”, aimed at raising funds for the construction of a new hospital for elephants in Krabi province. This new hospital will be the center for providing first aid treatment to injured elephants, serving 14 provinces in the south of Thailand.

The Launching of this activity was recently held at the BTS SkyTrain Head Office, Phaholyothin Road, chaired by Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas(center),Executive Chairman of BTS Group and Mr.Amnart Kampalikit(5th from left),Acting Managing Director of the National Elephant Institute Forest Industry Organization.

Other participants are from left : Dr. Sittidej Mahasawankul, Head of Elephant Hospital; Mr. Rangsin Kritalug,Chief of Operating Officer of BTS Group; Mr. Surapong Laoha-Unya, Chief of Operating Officer of the BTS SkyTrain; Mr. Boonlert Srisuksai, Deputy Managing Director, Forest Industry Organization and Mr. Worrawit Rothajanaphaithoon, Director of the National Elephant Institute Forest Industry Organization.
